Colorado Bike Month - Windsor Events
In cooperation with the State of Colorado’s Bike Month, the Town of Windsor’s Open Space & Trails Division will host several events to promote the community’s trail system. Visit each location and event to access QR code contest entries. Winners will be chosen at random. The more locations and events you visit, the more entries you have into the contest! Bike Everywhere Week
Sunday, June 17 - Saturday, June 23
This family-friendly event encourages exploration of Windsor’s bike-friendly routes. Locate and scan event QR codes for your chance to win one of several fabulous prizes. QR codes will be posted at various trail-accessible locations and events throughout Windsor.
Windsor Farmers Market
Saturday, June 18, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Grab your market bags and ride down to the Windsor Farmers Market to shop local and explore fresh finds, baked goods and products from small businesses.
Bike to Work Day
Wednesday, June 22, 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Whether you’re going to work or cycling for fun, participants in this event can stop at the booths located at Spokes Bike Shop, 427 Main St., and the Windsor Archery Range, Hwy. 257 & Poudre Trail Dr., for breakfast burritos and more. Scan the QR code for an extra chance to win a fabulous prize. Bike to Work Day has been a tradition in the Town of Windsor for several years. Each year the community sees an increase in participants.
Bicyclist Happy Hour
Wednesday, June 22, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Ride your bike to High Hops Brewery or Peculier Ales. There will be a event tent at each location. Those who ride (and are 21+) can enjoy a buy one get one free drinks at High Hops Brewery and $1 off drinks at Peculier Ales.
Bike to the Concert Day
Thursday, June 23, 6:30 p.m.
Join staff from Windsor’s Open Space & Trails Division to rock out to The Samples, and stop by our booth to pick up 5 extra contest entries, and learn about Windsor’s Open Space & Trails program.
“All of these family-friendly bike month events are designed to encourage residents and families to explore Windsor’s Bicycle Friendly Systems,” said Open Spaces & Trails Manager Wade Willis.
