Art & Heritage Center

  • Closed through the month of May.
  • The town of Windsor Museums is collecting COVID-19 related stories, artifacts, photos and more. View the submission form.

Community Recreation Center

  • The Community Recreation Center will be closed through May 31. However, the building will open for personal training only beginning Monday, May 4. Learn more about personal training.
  • Free fitness classes are available via Zoom. To register, call 970-674-3500 or visit bit.ly/WindsorFitness. View the schedule.
  • All memberships that were paid in full will be extended for the duration of the closure.
  • Any membership that is on auto-debit will be extended and we will not be collecting funds until the building re-opens.
  • All May rentals and events have been cancelled and refunded.
  • The Windsor Community Recreation Center will offer refunds per its policy.

Parks & Facilities

  • Per the Governor’s "Safer at Home" executive order, Windsor’s playgrounds and baseball fields remain closed. Parks, trails and open spaces remain open. To access a list of trailheads for the Poudre Trail, visit Poudretrail.org. To find parks, visit recreationliveshere.com/Parks.
  • Pickleball courts and tennis courts are open beginning Saturday, May 23. Please practice the recommended social distancing guidelines while on the court.
  • The Windsor Lake swim beach is closed until further notice.
  • Non-motorized boating is available from sunrise to sunset as long as no ice is present.
  • Motorized begins Wednesday, June 3.
  • Permits for motorized and non-motorized boating are required. Visit our boating page for more information. Please print or take a screen shot of your receipt as staff will be checking for permits. One permit per watercraft is required.

Events & Activities

  • All May events, activities and athletic programs provided by the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department have been suspended.
  • June Summer Concerts and Yappy Hour events are cancelled.
  • The Memorial Day Celebration on May 25 at Lakeview Cemetery is cancelled.
  • The Movie in the Park on June 12 is cancelled.
