Windsor, CO –Construction improvements to Number 2 Ditch Trail and Poudre Trail scheduled for November 18 through 29.
Construction will remove segments of concrete on the Trail, west of Windsor Lake and on the Poudre trail in Water Valley, to replace broken segments.
“Keeping our trails in safe conditions is our priority,” said Open Space and Trails Manager Wade Willis. “Staying on top of regular maintenance and construction will allow us to enjoy the trail for many years to come.”
Trails will remain open and accessible during construction. People are asked to be mindful, respectful and thoughtful of the construction site as the Town works to improve the trails.
The Town of Windsor has over 40 miles of trails that include a loop connecting communities to open space, downtown and neighborhoods. To learn more about the nine miles of Poudre Trail and five miles of the Number 2 Ditch Trail, visit
