The Parks, Recreation & Culture Department has begun soliciting pyrotechnic bidders for its 2022 July 4 fireworks display scheduled to be launched from the north side of Windsor Lake on July 4.
Windsor’s Parks, Recreation & Culture Department issued a request for qualifications on Jan. 4, 2022, and posted the information on the town’s website. To view the proposal in its entirety, visit www.windsorgov.com/bids.The contract will begin as a one-year agreement with the option to extend for an additional one-year period, not to exceed three consecutive one-year periods.
“We plan this event months in advance, which includes services for the 20-minute fireworks display,” said Lexie Spykstra, events coordinator for the Windsor Parks, Recreation and Culture Department. “We are seeking dedicated, responsive and experienced teams.”
The selected service provider will be expected to furnish all expertise, labor and resources to provide complete services necessary during the contract term. Interested parties with questions, not answered or clarified in the Request for Proposal (RFP), pertaining to the pyrotechnic display scheduled at Boardwalk Park, must be submitted by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25 via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. A response to questions, not already addressed in the RFP, will be offered in the form of an addendum.
Proposals for the pyrotechnic display must be submitted to the Parks, Recreation & Culture, 250 N. 11th Street, Windsor CO 80550, by Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 5 p.m. Mountain Standard Time in a sealed envelope, with the bidder’s name, address and proposal number TOW-PRC-2022-04 legibly marked on the face of the envelope.
