Eastman Park River Experience
Are you ready for a splish-splash good time? Located off of 7th Street and Eastman Park Drive north of the playground, shelter, skatepark and soccer fields is a local river adventure project unlike anything else in the Town of Windsor called the Eastman Park River Experience. The Eastman Park River Experience features a river-mile devoted to local kayaking, canoeing, tubing and water play.
The entrance to the river experience is located south of the Poudre Pooch Park entrance on the west side of Eastman Park.
This outdoor experience features a dedicated float launch and take out area, a scenic river plaza that provides river access for general water enjoyment, picturesque views of the Cache la Poudre River and Longs Peak and an amazing new hangout spot.
Over the next few years, the Town of Windsor has plans to expand this one-of-a-kind nature experience by adding southern river access from Eastman Park South which is on the south side of the Cache la Poudre River. Improvements include adding trails and garden space, building a nature playground, making parking improvements, preserving wetlands and more.
What You Should Know
Visitors enter the water at their own risk and always wear a safety vest. Because this is a natural space, water depth and streamflow may vary and there may be hazards beneath the water that cannot be seen. For more information, visit our river safety page.
This recreation area is part of the Town of Windsor's public park system. There is no admission fee to use the river experience. Tube rentals are available from late May to early September.
When recreating in this space, please clean up trash before leaving.
