WINDSOR, Colo. (October 11, 2025) — This October, Town of Windsor Museums invites the public to explore the mysterious history of the Eaton House and the Dickey Farmhouse. As part of the Paranormal Windsor series, participants will have a unique opportunity to uncover the truth behind their potentially haunted past and learn the tales of those who once called these historic buildings home.
Two programs will be offered, each providing a different experience.
Paranormal Windsor Presents provides a family-friendly opportunity to discover untold stories of two of Windsor’s oldest buildings, the Eaton House (100 N 5th St.) and Dickey Farmhouse, located at the Historic Halfway Homestead (335 McNeil Dr.).
Discover evidence captured by paranormal investigator James Montez during his recent overnight stays in each building including visual and audio recordings.
There are two opportunities to visit these historic sites for Paranormal Windsor Presents. The first night of the series will be held on Friday, Oct. 17 at the Eaton House, starting at 6 p.m. The second opportunity will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Dickey Farmhouse, starting at 6 p.m. Registration is required and is $6 per person.
Paranormal Windsor Investigates invites adult audiences for a real-life paranormal investigation inside the Dickey Farmhouse and Eaton House. Participants must be prepared to enter areas of near-complete darkness, walk up and down steep stairs and squeeze into confined areas while learning about paranormal investigation tools and techniques.
There are four opportunities to explore history as part of the Paranormal Windsor Investigates series. The first two opportunities will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Eaton House, starting at 6:30 and 9 p.m., respectively. The second night of Paranormal Windsor Investigates will be held on Friday, Oct. 31 at the Dickey Farmhouse, starting at 6:30 and 9 p.m. Registration is required and is $50-75 per person.
