Overview

Windsor Parks and Open Space is responsible for parks, trails, rights-of-way, the Lakeview Cemetery and open spaces within the Town. They evaluate development plans to ensure that parks, recreation and cultural needs are addressed.

Park Information & Amenities

Parks and playgrounds are an important part of Windsor’s infrastructure. They provide residents with a place to enjoy fresh air and serve as a way to preserve outdoor recreation space for future generations.

Reservations

Please be advised that parks are public space and may not be blocked from public use. Only shelters may be reserved for private use. Reserve a park shelter by calling the Community Recreation Center at 970-674-3500 or by reserving a shelter online. Be sure to read our Park Regulations (PDF).

How the Colorado Lottery helps Windsor Parks & Trails

The Town of Windsor receives Conservation Trust Fund dollars from the State of Colorado. These funds, from sales in the Colorado Lottery, come to the town in the form of grants, such as the Great Outdoors Colorado program. Many areas throughout Colorado have been preserved or developed with this assistance.
